Airbus A320neo

The A320neo is the re-engined version of Airbus's best-selling A320, fitted with either CFM LEAP-1A or Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines and large wingtip sharklets. It keeps the same fuselage and cabin as the earlier A320, so most airlines seat between 150 and 186 passengers on short and medium-haul routes. Airbus says it burns around a fifth less fuel per seat than the aircraft it replaces.

Seats and cabin layout

Airbus quotes 150–180 seats in a typical 2-class layout. The type certificate allows at most 195 passengers — the exit limit, which no airline with a premium cabin comes near.
