# Airbus A380-800

The A380-800 is the only full-length double-deck airliner ever built, with passenger cabins on two levels and four engines. Airbus built it from the mid-2000s until production ended in December 2021, and it still flies on busy long-haul routes for a small group of airlines, led by Emirates.

## Seats and cabin layout

Airbus quotes 545–555 seats in a typical 3–4 class layout. The type certificate allows at most 868 passengers — the exit limit, which no airline with a premium cabin comes near.
